When Bored Cow launched in 2021, the strategy was exclusively direct-to-consumer. As the brand expands into retail giants like Sprouts and Target, the brand has been catching fire with retail, so a more omnichannel approach is now needed. Furthermore, the unique value proposition was getting lost in a sea of RTBs and a site design that overshadowed product communication.


Our Secret Formula

Since we created their brand universe back in 2021, we were the perfect web partners to help Bored Cow rethink and refine their website. We built a custom Shopify store that supported the pivot from DTC to a retail-first mindset — as well as the expansion of future products through a more streamlined design that represented the evolution of the brand. Our UX focused on how Bored Cow is a better alternative across taste, nutrition, and functionality, providing a space that educates the unfamiliar and initiates the curious.
